LifeNets cattle project in the same area
United Youth Corps will be going to Maloca de Moscou from December 16, 2014 until Dec. 25, 2014 to work directly with villagers to prepare farmland for planting. Among other things, LifeNets will be sending 93 pairs of eyeglasses ranging from readers of 1.25 - 3.50 and several pair of prescription eyeglasses.

"Last month, while in Brazil, near Boa Vista, where 68 members of the United Church of God live, it became obvious to me that the deacon Benedito Gomes da Silva was struggling reading from his Bible during the sermonette which I was translating for him. I offered to read the Bible verses for him, and afterwards he mentioned that this problem was becoming greater and greater to the brethren in this area, as they are aging, and are struggling reading their Bibles.
"This donation from LifeNets with various grades of reading glasses will be a great blessing to the brethren and to the community as I will be taking extra glasses to donate to other Church’s fellowships and to the Maloca de Moscou community at large.
"When I will be with them in December for the follow on project after digging the well, they will be doubly grateful for this kind offer.
